Event organiser Jennifer McGuire presents the proceeds of a Style & Fashion Event that was held in The Bounty to Dr Tony Lowry (Chairman, South Westmeath Hospice).
A FASHION show, 'Passion for Fashion', was held in The Bounty on Thursday, July 8, in aid South Westmeath Hospice. A total of €4,450 was raised for this worthy cause. The sole organiser, Jennifer McGuire wants to thank everyone who helped to ensure its success.
The event itself was a huge success with the recently announced winner of TV3's Celebrity Salon and style icon herself Celia Holman Lee on the mike. The night kicked off with a champagne reception and treats from The Kitchen of Liz Gilhooly.
The children were the first to come down the catwalk modelling the latest in children's fashions from Sherbet Children'sBoutique. Female models were supplied by the Holman Lee Agency (Limerick) and they sported clothes from local boutique's Olivia Danielle, Dress Boutique, Burgess, Graces, Designit, Athlone Town Centre & Kadee Boutique.
Also taking to the catwalk on the night were local lads modelling clothes from Burgess and McGorisks For Men. The night ended with a raffle where prizes were donated by Wineport Lodge and Hotel, Custom Cuts, Graces, Kilbeggan Races, James Blacoes Jewellers, The Fatted Calf Restaurant Glasson, Hampers from Avon, McSharry's Pharmacy and Ann Kelly.
The night was also supported by Nicola Henson of Diamondlite, McSharrys Pharmacy, Geraldine's Health & Beauty Salon, The Bounty, Jane Walsh of Button Studio, Colm Quinn BMW, AIB Athlone and Warren Mulvey Photography.
The models hair on the night was styled by Kellie and Danielle from Fringe Hair Studio and their makeup was done by Bernie and Frances from McSharry's Pharmacy.
As mentioned, Jennifer herself would like to give a massive 'Thank You' to all the above mentioned, shops and sponsors from whom without their help and support the night would never have been so successful. Also she would like to thank all who attended and supported the night and the wonderful staff of The Bounty for their hospitality.
